I’d like to think of this week as an interesting and funny. After I got the approval to make calls to professionals from

, my wonderful ISM teacher, I decided to get right into it and make my first call. Little did I know I was in for a real surprise. I started off by calming my nerves down because no one wants to hear a stressed out, high school junior talking really fast on the phone. Then I proceeded to pull up my script and my first contact while taking my shaking fingers and typing in her number. I listened for the rings and to my astonishment she picked up and boy was I happy. I explained to her the purpose of my call and not only did I get, an interview but I got it the next day at nine in the morning. I walked back to class and shared my exciting news with my friends but then realized I had to do so many things to prepare for the interview. As soon as I told Mrs.Brittain she told me to fill out my travel form, print out my resumes, and make sure to have a folder or notepad to take notes from the interview. I woke up early the next day nervous for my very first interview with a Military Psychologist. I got to my location and walked into my interview with all the confidence I had. After it was done I was a little disappointed in how it went. Not only was my interview cut short but she gave very vague answers that didn’t clearly answers my questions but I am thankful I got the interview. Looking back on it I realized certain things I need to go to keep the conversation going. I can’t wait for my next interview because I am super excited!!!
