The beginning of spring break was absolute bliss until it took a turn for the worse. I started off with doing the one thing I needed most. Sleep and it was great. Usually I would get two to four hours of sleep but spring break has gratefully allowed me to sleep for a solid twelve hours. So far for spring break I have nothing except occasionally doing some ACT practice because I am still a junior and I need to get into college. What started off as a normal spring break turned into a pandemic, literally. I haven’t left my house in four days and I am going insane. The only way I see my friends is through my phone because I stay up facetiming and contemplating my life choices thus far. So for now I am stuck at home being bored to death but thankfully I have ISM keeping me busy. I have been keeping up with my mentor Mrs.Wendy Aporta to make sure I am still on track for our final product. Due to the whole Corona situation my teacher Mrs. Brittain has told all ISM students to refrain from meeting without mentors for our and their safety. Our school has also turned to eLearning which basically made us complete all of our school work online. Honestly I am upset because there isn’t much I can do for my final product because it requires socializing with people so at this point all I can do is wait and see where COVID-19 takes me. I am a little upset because I am really looking forward to final product night and showing everything I have worked on to people. I have decided to keep a positive attitude and hope FPN still happens. My goal for this week is to keep up with all the work I have due at 11:59 on march 20th and finish my ISM work as well so I can make sure I can do the most I can for my final product. Everybody wash your hands and stay safe. See y’all next week.
