Hey guys! This week in ISM nothing much happened but I have started on my final product. I started off by research the organization 22kil because I wanted to know what they did specifically for Military veterans. Also my ISM teacher, Mrs.Brittain, is back from maternity leave and her baby is so adorable. Her being back has really helped me stay on track with ISM because now I have a place to turn in all my assignments rather than emailing it or using google classroom. She also helped me decide my final product idea. At first I wanted to give a presentation for middle schoolers to educate them on military psychology but instead I decided to organize a volunteer service. By organizing this volunteer service I am hoping to expand it and organize miniature projects within it and also find a way for the community to be involved. The goal of this volunteer service is to give a chance to veterans to express their experiences and also educated high schoolers while providing them with volunteer hours. I really hope all of this comes together to make my family proud because this product means the world to me. Today in ISM we picked out times for our next ten minute presentation which talks about our original work and mentoring. I am really excited because I am very passionate about what I have come up with. So in the next two weeks I will prepare for it and work on my final product. I’m going to be very surprised if I manage not to stress myself out.
