A lot of things have happened this past month. For example, my ISM Winter Showcase happened on January 15th and it was amazing. I started the process of buying supplies for my poster. After I made my board, making sure everything was organized just the way I would like it. Then the day finally came, where I would have to present everything I had done in my first semester of ISM. Starting all the way for cold-calling to my original work. The experience during the showcase was definitely one to remember. I had little kids all the way to adults come up to me and ask me questions about my topic. For my presentation I made green ribbons for people to pin onto their as a symbol of mental health awareness. The best part of my night was when my teacher told me the amount of people he saw wearing these bows which made me feel all fluffy inside. When my parents came to my night got even better. They had brought their friends to show me that I had their support no matter what happened. I am immensely grateful for my friends and family because they have supported me through everything. I can’t wait for all the opportunities ISM has to offer and I am very excited.
