These past two weeks have been both hectic and relaxing. It was hectic because I gave my first ten minute presentation by myself in front of my ISM. I remember being one of the first to volunteer just so I could get it out of the way. I was nervous, scared, and felt as if I was about to cry any second. I did a practice run with some of my friends in class and my presentation was four minutes short. This only made me more nervous and I contemplating backing out to go that day. But thanks to the immediate support I got, I was motivated to push through. As I started my presentation I remember the words flowing out of my mouth and expressing my personality in order to connect with my audience. After I was done I was given a very small amount of critique but my teacher loved the presentation and I got a 100. I am so thankful for the friends that I have because without them I would have struggled a lot more. Last week was relaxing because it was finally Thanksgiving Break and I got to stay home from school. During the break I worked on my original work for ISM and hanging out with my friends and family. My goal for this week is to start wrapping up my original work and make sure everything is in the right order. See you guys next week!
